I don't believe in writing bios in the third person. Everyone knows it's me writing it anyway.
I'm a poet, professional slayer of subcubilial monsters, and habitual writer of love letters. However, since none of these occupations pay especially well, I write speculative fiction and have literary ambitions. I write poetry under the somewhat pretentious single pen name of Liùsaidh. Why? Because I got 'telt' to pick another name for the poetry., and nothing fit me properly except a variation of my name.
I misspent my youth in South America, India, and East Asia, and my writing probably reflects the sort of cultural disorientation you get when you're an insider and outsider in your own country. All my work is peppered with themes of exile, power, love, and war.
I ive in a strange Scottish village controlled by a sinister secret society. They watch. They know everything..
In my other life, I'm a peotry editor at The Quarterday Review.
